The National Park Service (NPS) has notified the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) of urgent work that must be performed on the plumbing and sewage system serving the East Potomac area. The East Potomac pool, the adjacent golf building, and the park police headquarters are all impacted by this work and, as a result, DPR is required to temporarily close the East Potomac Pool, located at 900 Ohio Drive, SW.

An update advisory will be released when NPS has resolved the issue.
