WHO/WHAT: Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Ward 4 Councilmember Muriel Bowser, DPR Director, Jesus Aguirre and Ward 4 community members will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and community day at the Shepherd Park Playground and Field.

BACKGROUND: Mayor Gray, District officials and Ward 4 community members will cut the ribbon on the new Shepherd Park Playground and Field. There is a new artificial turf field, ADA compliant playground and more. The day will also be celebrated by a community day with food, games, soccer clinics and moon bounces.
