DPR Director Jesús Aguirre states, “DPR is an agency that serves all District residents, young, old, and everyone in between, there is something for everyone at DPR. With hundreds of programs available to the public, we want to ensure that we are communicating our goals and programs and that we have an opportunity to listen to our communities. This is critical, as we want to make sure that our program offerings reflect the interests of the community. These open houses will assist us as we continue to improve DPR.”
This is a fantastic opportunity to discover your DPR and help the agency work more closely with communities across the District. There will be informational tables set up by each recreation center and DPR Program. These sessions will allow residents to meet our staff and learn about all of our recreational programming, including aquatics, athletics, senior services, youth and teen programs, facilities, fields, and more.
