Community Parks 

The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) operates many parks in the District.  DPR is currently updating the listing of parks for use on the DPR Online Facility Guide.  Park information should be available in the Fall of 2010.  Descriptions of the various types of parks is provided below.

Dog Parks

Dog Parks

Dog Parks in the District of Columbia are maintained by the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) in partnership with the public. See the Dog Parks section of the website for more information.

 

 

Large Parks

Large parks are maintained by DPR ground crews and are unstaffed.  Information in individual parks will be available on the DPR Online Facility Guide soon.

 

 

Triangle Parks

Triangle parks are formed at street intersections across the District.  These parks are maintained by DPR in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DDOT).  Information in individual parks will be available on the DPR Online Facility Guide soon.
