26th Annual Black History Invitational Swim Meet


The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the United Black Fund, Inc. will host the 26th Annual Black History Invitational Swim Meet, February 17 - 19, 2012, at the Takoma Aquatic Center, 300 Van Buren, Street, NW.  The 26th Black History Invitational Swim Meet is approved by USA Swimming through Potomac Valley Swimming. All DPR aquatic facilities will be closed as DC hosts this annual event.

The Black History Invitational Swim Meet is hailed by USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming, as the "premier minority swim competition in the United States and in the World." This year's honoree is Rodger McCoy.

Teams competing in this year's meet should submit the completed Team Manager program to Robert Green at robert.green@dc.gov
