Dog Parks - Application for Upshur Park
The
Upshur Park Dog Park Application* seeks to establish a 15,000 square-foot off-leash dog park at Upshur Park at 14th Street and Arkansas Avenue, NW (Square 2818 Lot 0800 and Square 2820 Lot 801). The proposed site is located at the corner of Arkansas and Allison Streets, NW.
The Upshur Park Dog Park Application was
approved by DPR in February 2009. Approval was given by the DPR Director after receiving the formal recommendation of the Dog Park Application Review Committee (DPARC).

online* or by visiting the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), 3149 16th Street, NW, First Floor. Please note that the DC Department of Parks and Recreation considered
only Option A as submitted in the application.
The public comment period closed on December 14, 2008.
