Planned Use
A public multi-purpose recreation and educational facility.

General Description
The center is located within the Greenleaf Housing complex, serving residents of Greenleaf, Syphax Gardens, and James Creek. The Center currently offers after-school tutoring, male mentoring, cheerleading, lighted basketball courts, a soccer field, tennis courts, softball courts, and other public space amenities. The recreation center is highly utilized. During football, baseball and soccer season the fields are at capacity.

Building Improvements
The new facility will include an indoor gymnasium and additional building space such as meeting space, exercise rooms, shower facilities, locker rooms, and learning centers.

Site Improvements
Parking lots and driveways will be improved, and exterior lighting will be installed.
