King Greenleaf Recreation Center
Capital Improvement Program
Through its capital improvement programs, DC Parks and Recreation (DPR) offers job and economic development opportunities to citizens and businesses in the Washington region. DPR’s Capital Projects Division offers exciting opportunities for skilled professionals in many areas of construction management and development. To view positions currently available, visit DPR's employment opportunities section.
To assist in the implementation of capital projects, DPR works with two program managers: Jair Lynch/Alpha and the Temple Group. Both program managers solicit general contractors and sub-contractors regularly. To find out about opportunities available through our program managers, visit their web sites at www.jairlynch.com and www.thetemplegroup.com.
LSDBE Participation We encourage Local, Small, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LSDBE) Participation. For more information, visit the Office of Local Business Development website.
First Source Agreement DPR enforces the city’s First Source Agreement requirements administered by the Department of Employment Services (DOES). The First Source Agreement ensures that projects over $100,000 in value give priority to District residents for newly created jobs. All beneficiaries of contractual agreements of $100,000 or more are required to utilize DOES as a first source of recruitment, referral and placement of employees. |
