Scholarship Eligibility

Scholarships are available to families who qualify. To find out if you qualify, please complete the Eligibility Worksheet* and use the income eligibility chart below. If your family qualifies for a scholarship, you can obtain an application* online or visit any recreation center. Submit one complete application for each child. Applications must also include copies of the following:
  • Three (3) recent paycheck stubs and/or proof of benefit (Social Security, TANF, Foster Child)
  • Government issued ID or driver’s license
  • Proof of residency (utility bill, lease or deed bearing guardian’s name)
  • Official long copy of birth certificate for all dependant children
Completed applications should be returned to your nearest Department of Parks and Recreation center. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

 Number of people living in household:   You are eligible for a full scholarship if your household income is below:   You are eligible for a partial (50%) scholarship if your household income is below:

*Children receiving Social Security benefits, TANF benefits or foster child benefits will automatically qualify for full scholarships.  Proper documentation is required.
