Riggs LaSalle Community Center Grand Opening - Media Tour Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and Department of Parks and Recreation Director, Clark E. Ray, led the media on Friday, April 11, 2008, on a special pre-opening tour of the recently completed Riggs LaSalle Community Center.  Among the features of the new facility are an indoor gymnasium with bleachers, weight and fitness room, computer lab, multipurpose room, and restrooms with showers and lockers.  The building also has a green roof and DPR is seeking LEED certification of the facility.
