For those wishing to serve, please do the following:
Complete a Background Check:
- Complete the DPR volunteer application form to initiate the background check process
- After completing the application form, the Partnerships Office will contact each applicant to schedule a Metropolitan Police Department (“MPD”) background check.
- Applicant must receive a clearance on their background check in order to be eligible to volunteer (DPR will automaticaly receive clearance notice from MPD)
Once DPR Receives Notice that an Applicant has Received Clearance:
- Applicant must attend a DPR Volunteer Orientation.
- Applicant must sign volunteer documents.
- Applicant will receive a volunteer badge, with photo and lanyard.
