(Washington, DC) – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that Emery Playground (5801 Georgia Avenue NW/Ward 4) and Volta Park Playground (1555 34th Street NW/Ward 2) will close on Monday, October 3, 2016 for safety reasons while contractors from the Department of General Services address playground improvements at both sites.
DPR will update the public when the repairs are complete.
