Wilson Aquatic Center Closed Until Thursday, March 13

Pool Evacuated Earlier Today Due to Chemical Spill

(Washington, DC) - DC Fire and EMS (FEMS) and DC Department of the Environment (DDOE) report that due to the chemical spill today at Wilson Aquatic Center (4551 Fort Drive, NW), the facility will be closed for the remainder of today, Wednesday, March 12th and is expected to open late tomorrow, Thursday, March 13th.  Early morning swim will be cancelled for Thursday, March 13th. 

Constituents will be notified when the facility reopens.

Wilson aquatic facility and high school were closed today due to a chemical spill in the aquatic facilities chemical room.
