Kids, Camps & Co-op

Every year, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) offers a variety of exciting urban camping opportunities for youth ages 3 to 17. These opportunities include sports camps, aquatic camps, therapeutic camps, and other day camps. Additionally, DPR partners with the District Department of Employment Services to host a number of exciting teen career camps. For more information, select a camp from the offering below or contact the DPR Camp Office.

  • Cooperative Play Program
    Information regarding registration, locations and more for the upcoming 2017-2018 Cooperative Play Program
  • Summer Camps - 2017 Summer Camps registration is underway!!!  First day of camp - June 19, 2017.  
    • The 2017 Summer Camp Rolling Registration began on February 27, 2017.
    • The Reduced Rate Pre-Qualification period began on Monday, January 23, 2017.
    • Current Summer Camp Office Hours: Mondays: 9:30 am to 7 pm.  Tuesdays through Fridays: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.  Saturday & Sunday: Closed.
