Status: Under Construction

The play space at Guy Mason is located at 3600 Calvert Street, NW in Ward 3. The outdoor play area is close to Wisconsin Avenue NW, adjacent to a basketball court and baseball field. The site currently features play equipment, field, dog park, and sport courts.

• First community meeting: December 18, 2013 from 6:30-8:00pm at Guy Mason Recreation Center (3600 Calvert Street, NW)
• Second community meeting: Saturday, February 8, 2014, 10am-12pm at Guy Mason Recreation Center (3600 Calvert Street, NW)
• Third community meeting: Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 6:30-8:00pm at Guy Mason Recreation Center (3600 Calvert Street, NW)
• Pre-construction meeting: August 7, 2014, 6:30-7:30pm at Guy Mason Recreation Center (3600 Calvert Street, NW)
• Construction start date: August 18, 2014
• Completion date: December 23, 2014
• Ribbon-cutting ceremony: TBD
