What’s New?

The concept for Palisades plays on the history of the area through play equipment and designs that feature Native American symbols. The Potomac River, designed into the surfacing, flows through new equipment for younger and older children, a new shade structure, and into a new spray feature. Outside of the footprint of the old play space, new amenities include outdoor fitness equipment, a small skate spot, and an expanded garden area.

How You’ll Move, Grow and Be Green

Whether you like to make a splash or you’re learning how to ollie , the new Palisades play space has great ways to MOVE around. The design of the new Palisades play space invites you to GROW in your appreciation of the Native American history of the area. An expanded community garden will help you to BE GREEN.
