The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will a 18' x 18' shade structure that will help shade the patrons of Upshur Pool. The structure will be placed between the small children pool and the adult pool in order to maximize shade for everyone.
Also, due to the large snow storms during the 2010 winter, a shade structure was damaged at Stead Recreation Center. DPR is replacing that shade structure with a new one.
