(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that Mitchell Park Playground (1801 23rd Street, NW) will temporarily close for Play DC construction starting on Monday, June 9, 2014 through September 2014.  The basketball courts will be closed as well.

The field will remain open for use.

Residents willl be notified when the basketball courts and playground re-open.
