(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced six DPR locations will serve as DC Board of Ethics and Elections (DCBOEE) early voting satellite locations and 17 DPR locations will serve as DCBOEE election day voting locations. Three locations will serve as both early voting and election day locations. For more information please see DCBOEE's Early Voting to Begin in the District of Columbia press release. Please note that during early voting, District residents may cast their ballot at any voting location, however on Election Day, District residents must vote at their assigned precinct locations.
All DCBOEE early voting locations will open starting on Saturday, October 25, 2014 through Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 8:30 am to 7 pm; excluding Sunday, October 26, 2014.
Early voting locations at DPR sites are as follows:
Ward 1 - Columbia Heights Community Center (1480 Girard St., NW)
Ward 3 - Chevy Chase Community Center (5601 Connecticut Ave., NW)
Ward 4 - Takoma Community Center (300 Van Buren St., NW)
Ward 5 - Turkey Thicket Recreation Center (1100 Michigan Ave., NE)
Ward 6 - King Greenleaf Recreation Center (201 N St., SW)
- Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th St., NE)
All DCBOEE election day voting locations will open from 7 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
