Come out and join Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Councilmember Marion Barry, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), the DC Department of General Services (DGS) and the Douglass community as we cut the ribbon on the newest Play DC playground in Ward 8.

The concept for Douglass’ play space centers on the historic abolitionist Frederick Douglass’ life. The memorial groves represent 3 of the phases and locations of Mr. Douglass’ life.
