Lights On Afterschool @ Raymond Recreation Center

Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families and communities. This event will draw attention to the many ways afterschool programs support students by offering them opportunities to learn new things. Raymond Recreation Center is seeking to showcase our wide gamut of programs as well as create an environment of fun through engaging craft, culinary and STEAM focused activities.  

National Park(ing) Day - DPR Central Office

Park(ing) Day is an annual, open-source, worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into temporary public "parks".  The mission of Park(ing) Day is to call attention to the need for more urban open space.

DPR will celebrate Park(ing) Day 2015 with an array of activities.  We invite everyone to come out and enjoy a day of activities that will include:

The DC Boxing and Wrestling Commission (Commission) will host the 5th Annual Dr. Arnold W. McKnight Amateur Boxing Invitational, Kickboxing and MMA Exhibition Event on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 12 pm to 6 pm.

DPR's 7th Annual Doggie Day Swim

Following the end of the summer pool season, this annual event will provide dogs with the opportunity to swim and play games in three of DC's pools.
