Community Health and Wellness Information Fair - Chevy Chase Community Center
The Health and Wellness Fair will offer a variety of health, wellness and aging information ranging from health screenings, disability and aging resources, in addition to assistance with legal counsel and housing issues.
Lifeguard Open House - Ferebee-Hope Recreation Center
Potential candidates can come learning about summer employment as a DPR Lifeguard, register for a lifeguard class. Those that register at this event will have their certification fee waived.
Perquisite skills for the class includes
- 100 yard swim
- Tread water without hands for 1 min
- Retrieve a 10 pound brick from the bottom of the pool
