Young Men, Future Leaders (YMFL) Field Day - Takoma Community Center

Come out for a day of outdoor activities, sports and fun as DPR launches a new program, "Young Men, Future Leaders" and celebrates the programs first kick off event.  Activities will include soccer, kickball, an obstacle course, flag football, tug-of-war and basketball; as well as kickboxing and skate park demonstrations. 
Lunch and snacks will be provided.  Registration is required.  If you are interested in becoming a member of YMFL, or attending the event, please contact your local recreation center.

The District government is closed in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. All DPR recreation centers, aquatic facilities and administrative offices will be closed. 

Fort Stanton Annual Senior Holiday Luncheon - Fort Stanton Recreation Center

In celebration of the holiday season, many seniors use this luncheon as an expression of thanks for the season. An elegant lunch is followed by entertainment.

CCRC's First Annual Halloween Masquerade Dog Show - Chevy Chase Recreation Center

Chevy Chase Rec Center will host the first and only official DPR event dedicated to our canine constituents.  Dogs (with their owners/families) will participate in a parade and "strut their stuff." Dogs will be judges in various categories and prizes will be given.

Dogs must register with the site and can be registered the day of the dog show to select their entry categories. There will be Tricks and Treats for all!!!
