14th, Oak and Ogden Park Improvements

14th and Oak and Ogden Park Concept Drawing

This is a small triangle park located at the intersection of 14th, Oak and Ogden Streets, NW in northern Columbia Heights. The project calls for a complete overhaul of the park to create a safer and more inviting space.

Unique elements of the concept design include short pillar seats, pavement medallions and preservation of the existing oak tree, one of the largest in the neighborhood.

Schedule and Status

DPR is now going through the permitting and construction procurement process and expects to begin construction in Summer 2010.
