The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has begun a park improvement project for the park at 7th and N Streets, NW. The goal of the project is to create a family-friendly space by making a number of capital improvements to the current park. Proposed improvements include installation of the following amenities:

• Play structure for 2 to 5 year olds
• Swing structure for 2 to 12 year olds
• Poured-in-place rubber play surface
• Benches
• Ornamental steel fencing
• Lawn and shade trees
• Walking paths
