Dog Parks

DPR manages and maintains a dozen dog parks throughout the District. These areas are caged in with enough space for friendly dogs to run free without leashes. Please do not bring your pet to a DPR dog park if it interacts with other dogs in an aggressive manner.

To apply for the potential addition of a dog park in your neighborhood, please fill out the DPR Dog Park Application and return the signed document to the following address:
