The Fort Stanton Recreation Center is an outdoor escape located in Ward 8 in the heart of the Anacostia neighborhood. The site has a “Fort” Playground Theme, an outdoor pool, and programs offered throughout the year, including Zumba, yoga, crocheting, and line dancing.
In addition, visiting the Fort Stanton Recreation Center will provide the opportunity to visit the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Museum, which is adjacent to the building on Erie Street. So, if outdoor activities are your thing, Fort Stanton is the Center for you!
