Hamilton Tot Lot Renovation

The Hamilton Recreational Center and Park currently include a basketball court, a playground for children ages 5-12, a tot lot for ages 2-5, a 40' x 60' athletic field and a multipurpose room. The center offers programs to resident children in the neighboring area.

It became increasingly apparent to the community and DPR that the tot lot was in need of renovations and upgrade, as the currently playground no longer meets the needs of the community.

In an effort to increase recreational opportunities at Hamilton Recreation Center, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) agreed to prepare the site for a future tot lot.

A special thanks goes out to the "Friends of 16th Street Heights Parks" for their donation of tot lot equipment to the property.
