Play DC: Brentwood Playground Renovation

The play space at Brentwood is located at 2311 14th Street, NE in Ward 5. The play space is adjacent to the recreation center, and the site also features a baseball diamond.

What’s New?

The play space will stay in the same area, but new equipment will provide great new ways to play. A climbing structure will replace the existing pavilion that separates the play areas for younger children and older children. A new paving pattern will link the play space area to the plaza area. Around the baseball field, visitors to the site will enjoy a new walking path and fitness equipment.

How You’ll Move, Grow and Be Green

New play equipment and new exercise equipment provide opportunities for both the young and the young at heart to MOVE. You can GROW your community by meeting under a new shade structure at the 15th Street entrance. New landscaping ensures that our site has a chance to BE GREEN.
