The play space at Hillcrest is located at 3100 Denver Street, SE in Ward 7. The current play space includes play equipment, an entry-way seating area, and a parking area with no through access.

What’s New?

The concept for Hillcrest calls for new play equipment for younger and older children, including climbing elements, swings and a small berm. A small spray feature will keep kids cool in the summer, and a new area for picnics and grilling provides room for the whole family to relax. New fitness equipment and additional walking pathways are also included, along with a new community garden and new gazebo. The parking lot will be expanded to provide a one-way through lane and additional parking spaces.

How You’ll Move Grow and Be Green

New ways to MOVE around Hillcrest include splashing in a small water feature or climbing up a climbing wall. GROW in your appreciation of the cinematic arts with a new movie wall for community movie nights. Got a green thumb? You can BE GREEN in the new community garden.
