**THERAPEUTIC AQUATIC CENTER IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR MAJOR RENOVATION**
The Joy Evans Therapeutic Aquatic Center (TR Center) is DC's premiere facility specifically focused on DC residents with Special Needs. The pool and recreation center will soon begin major renovation. Check the renovation page maintained by DGS for the most recent updates.
The pool has a minimum depth of 3 ft and a maximum depth of 8 ft 6 inches. The pool is heated to 90 degrees Fahrenheit year round and there is a separate spa that has 8 jets, which are heated to102-104 degrees Fahrenheit.
