Grass fields and park sites will be closed during the Winter season from November 18, 2019 – March 15, 2020.

DPR's natural grass fields undergo yearly scheduled maintenance for re-seeding, re-sodding and re-lining. Poor field conditions can be hazardous to participants, and can damage the playing surface, making the field unusable over time.

DPR offers 116 athletic fields for community use and organized play. All artificial turf (synthetic) fields will remain open. Visit DPR Athletic Field Inventory for a location suited to your interest.

If permit holders are found using the fields when they are closed, permits can be revoked.

Please note the re-open date may be subject to change, should any unforeseen inclement weather occur. Patrons will be notified if the fields re-open date will be delayed.
