(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has temporarily closed Benning Park Community Center (Southern Avenue and Fable Street, SE) due to a maintenance issue at the facility.

All programs and fitness classes taking place at the center are cancelled. The March Madness Youth Basketball Tournament will take place at the Fort Davis Community Center. 

Pepco is on-site and constituents will be notified when the center re-opens.
