(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has temporarily closed Congress Heights Recreation Center (611 Alabama Ave., SE) due to the current Play DC construction taking place on the playground area. Both the center and the playground are closed.

The recreation center is scheduled to re-open in May 2014.  Constituents will be notified when the recreation center re-opens.
