(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has temporarily closed Deanwood Aquatic Facility, located at 1350 49th St., NE.  Currently, there are issues with the A/C unit, which is causing extremely high temperatures on the pool deck.  Only the pool is affected by the closure, the recreation center remains open.  The Department of General Services (DGS) is on site and constituents will be notified when the pool re-opens.

DPR apologizes for the inconvenience and is working with DGS to resolve this issue.  Information will be provided as it becomes available.
