(WASHINGTON, DC)  Due to the dangerous winter weather that is expected to affect the District starting Sunday night, Mayor Vincent C. Gray has closed the District Government on Monday, March 3, 2014.   A snow emergency will go into effect for the District of Columbia on Monday morning at 7 am.

All DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) aquatic centers, recreation facilities and administrative office are closed for Monday, March 3rd.  All programs, events and activities are cancelled.

Registrations for Spring Break camp and spring programs scheduled for Monday, March 3rd, have been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 4th.
