WASHINGTON, DC – In observance of the holidays, all DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) facilities are closed Saturday, December 24th through Monday, December 26th. DPR will again close for New Years beginning Saturday, December 31th through Monday, January 2nd.

Wilson Aquatic Center, 4551 Fort Drive, NW in Ward 1 and the William Rumsey Aquatic Center, 635 North Carolina Avenue, SE in Ward 6 will be open on Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2, 2012 from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

During December 27th through December 30th, DPR Mega Sites will observe standard opening hours and close at 8:00pm. A list of the DPR Mega Sites is listed below. All other sites are open 11:30am – 8:00pm.

DPR Winter Wondercamp sites are open 7:30am – 8:00pm.
