DPR is Accepting Proposals for the Ladies of Leadership Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship

(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (“DPR”) will accept proposals from organizations to provide sponsorships, donations, to support the Ladies of Leadership Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program (see Notice of Intent). This opportunity is pursuant to DC Official Code 10-303 (e), DPR has the right to offer certain advertising, sponsorship, promotional, activation, and other benefits and opportunities related to and in connection with a DPR activity, event, property or program.

The deadline to submit a proposal for a potential partnership is Monday, July 17, 2017, at 5 p.m. A complete electronic Interest Form must be e-mailed to [email protected] prior to the deadline for consideration. Following the review of a proposal, the Department may offer the interested party an opportunity to apply for a partnership that the Department deems appropriate. Failure to provide all of the requested information in the application form shall result in the denial of the application. Many Sponsorship Package opportunities are available.

Eligibility: Sponsoring, donating, and partnering organizations must be in good standing, with interests in any of the following: 1) enhancing personal, civic and leadership development through structural educational workshops; 2) promoting high academic achievement and provide scholarship towards higher education; 3) promoting servant leadership through volunteerism and community services; 4) promoting high ethical standards, character development, good citizenship and social graces during the formative years; 5) promoting camaraderie and positive relationships in young women; 6) promoting artistic expression and health through dance, movement, recreation and leisure science.

Notice of Selection: This notice of intent is a request for proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of supporting the DPR requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their interest in fulfilling the requirement being requested by 5:00 PM ET on July 17th, 2017. Telephone responses and requests will not be received. A determination by DPR not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the DPR. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Selected sponsors, donors, partners will be notified and is subject to the mutual agreement of the parties no later than Monday, July 31st 2017.
