(Washington, DC) – In observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday, all DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) centers, facilities and administrative offices will operate on the following schedule for the holiday weekend:

Wednesday, November 26, the day before Thanksgiving, all DPR recreation centers and aquatic facilities will close early at 6 pm. The Southeast Tennis & Learning Center will close at 6:30 pm.

Thursday, November 27, Thanksgiving Day, all DPR facilities, centers and administrative offices will be closed.
- There are no permitted recreation center or field activities for the day.
- All grass fields are closed for the season.

Parks, playgrounds and synthetic fields will be open for general use.
- Friday, November 28, DPR centers and facilities will operate on the following schedule:
- The following recreation centers will be open from 10 am - 8 pm:

- All other DPR recreation centers will open from 11:30 am - 8 pm.
- All aquatics facilities and administrative offices will operate during their normal hours.
- All scheduled permitted events and activities will take place for the permitted time only.
- Saturday, November 29, all DPR centers and facilities will operate on their normal schedules.
