(Washington, DC)  Today, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that the agency will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2015 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.

All recreation/community centers, aquatic facilities and administrative offices will be closed.   

All permitted events will take place as scheduled. 

All fields and playgrounds will be open.
