Recreation centers and pools close for Emancipation Day

WASHINGTON, DC – Today the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that in observance of DC Emancipation Day all recreation centers and pools will closed on Friday, April 15, 2011.

Additionally DPR will modify the hours of the Ferebee Hope Aquatic Center during the week of DCPS Spring Break. Beginning Monday, April 18, 2011 Ferebee Hope Aquatic Center will be open from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The regular schedule will resume on Monday, April 25, 2011.
