Washington, DC - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has announced that due to extreme heat conditions, DPR athletic fields will be closed today, Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm, for the safety of DPR customers.  Additionally, all DPR outdoor activities and permits have been cancelled for the remainder of the day.
