(Washington, DC) – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to provide a unique opportunity for youth ages 16 to 18 to participate, grow and learn about a Cotillion. DPR began sponsoring debutante cotillions and beautillion programs in 1986. The debutante program promotes high ethical standards, character development, good citizenship and social grace in efforts to develop positive well rounded leaders.
Interested members will complete an application and interview process to participate in a 12 week curriculum of educational workshops, special events and community service projects that will enhance their artistic expression through dance and movement. We hope to see you there!
