DPR Hosts Mayor’s Boxing Cup August 18 -20th

(Washington, DC) – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation will kick off the Annual Mayor's Boxing Cup, on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 6 pm. The Mayor’s Boxing Cup is held in collaboration with the Potomac Valley Boxing Association. This three-day tournament from Friday, August 18 through Sunday, August 20, 2017 showcases the future of boxing, as many of the athletes who have competed have gone on to become world and pro regional champions. The event brings some of the most talented amateur boxers ranging in age from 8 to 40, from cities across the country.
