WASHINGTON, DC – On Columbus Day, Monday, October 10, 2011, the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will close all recreation centers and facilities in observance of the holiday. Two aquatic centers will be open with modified hours. Facilities with valid permits will be made available for the permitted time period only.
