DPR announced that on Monday, October 8, 2012 all Recreation Centers will be closed in observance of the Columbus Day holiday. All Aquatic Centers, with the exception of Takoma, will be closed.

(Washington, DC)  – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that on Monday, October 8, 2012 all Recreation Centers will be closed in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.  All Aquatic Centers, with the exception of Takoma, will be closed.  Takoma will operate on a modified holiday schedule.  All scheduled permitted events and activities on DPR fields will be made available for the permitted time period only.
