WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) released the 2010 Fall Program Guide. The biggest fall guide to date, DPR offers sports leagues, teen programs, personal enrichment programs, cultural arts, senior citizen programs, therapeutic recreation, aquatics, fitness and exercise, afternoon access and much more. There is something for everyone.

Take some time to review DPR's 2010 Fall Program Guide. Then take the next steps and visit the new registration system, which also makes its debut today. DPR’s new registration system is a step forward in the level of customer service the agency is able to provide to DC residents and guests. During DPR’s recent series of Open Houses across the District, one reoccurring issue residents commented on was the difficulty enrolling in programs. Based on feedback that DPR received, the new online registration system is faster, easier to navigate and has a more streamlined check out process that greatly reduces the number of clicks required to enroll and pay for a class. DPR will be utilizing the services of Administrative Software Applications, Inc. (ASA) to meet residents’ needs.

To ensure DPR has an accurate record of customer data, customers are asked to first create new customer accounts within the registration system. Customers will notice that is process is also faster and simpler than in the past. Customers may access the registration system through the DPR website, DPR.DC.GOV, or directly at www.asaponlinereg.com/dcdpr.

A limited number of printed guides are available at DPR locations, public libraries, and select government agencies.
