(Washington, DC)  – Today, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the Park View Recreation Center (693 Otis Pl., NW) will be closed for renovations starting Monday, November 19, 2012 through January 2013.  The last day of programming at the recreation center will be Saturday, November 17, 2012.

The Park View Recreation Center will undergo interior and exterior improvements to better support programming at the facility, and DPR will work with the DC Department of General Services (DGS) on the renovations.  Park View's outdoor field and playground will remain open.  To access the outdoor spaces during construction, residents should enter the park space through the entrances off of Princeton and Otis streets.
