(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that due to the inclement weather, DPR grass fields will be closed today, Monday, November 9, 2015, for the safety of DPR's customers. Poor field conditions can be hazardous to participants, and can damage the playing surface, making the field unusable over time.
If permit holders are found using the fields when they are closed, permits can be revoked.
All artificial turf fields will remain open.
