(WASHINGTON, DC)  The DC Department of Human Resources (DCHR) announced  that the District Goverment will operate on a two-hour delayed schedule on Friday, February 14, 2014. 

As a result, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will operate on the following schedule:

• DPR Fun Day will start at 11 am.

• The 28th Annual Black History Invitational Swim Meet Friday morning session has been cancelled.  The Friday afternoon session and all Saturday and Sunday sessions will proceed as scheduled.  Any volunteers scheduled for Friday morning should report to Takoma after 9 am.

• All Aquatic facilities that hold morning swim hours will open at 9 am.  Marie Reed and Ferebee-Hope will open at 3 pm.
   
• Administrative offices will open at 10:30 am.
   
• The Cooperative Play program is cancelled.

• Recreation Centers will open as follows:

• The following sites will be closed:

• The following sites will open at 10:30 am:

  • Guy Mason Recreation Center
  • Hillcrest Recreation Center  (Fun Day Site)
